What is the difference between a standard Invite and a Gatefold Invite?

A gatefold invitation typically consists of two panels which fold inward toward each other, meeting in the centre like gates. Due to the panelling with this style of invitation there is more room for information such as RSVP details, accommodation or travel guidance, or perhaps menu options that you typically wouldn't have room for on a standard invitation.
